We will miss him

Our dear Prophet President Hinckley died tonight. He returned home to his sweet wife tonight around 7 pm lovingly surrounded by his family. How blessed we are to have felt of so much of his dear love and leadership over the past 13 years. For many of us, President Hinckley really was the only prophet we knew! It hardly seems appropriate to not expect to see his happy loving face at each conference. Or to hear his wit while still expressing his love and guidance. We always knew that he loved us and cared for the welfare and spirituality of his fellow saints. He lovingly made that so clear. Just hearing his voice, you could almost feel his love for each of us and our Savior wrapping around you! What a remarkable leader and example for each of us. He served faithfully, giving his all to our Father and the church. He truly loved us and radiated our Savior's love. What a precious and tender reunion he must have had with his wife tonight!

Lastly, I think Senator Hatch put it very well:

"His wit, wisdom, and exemplary leadership will be missed by not only members of our faith, but by people of all faiths throughout the world."
