We are Powerful Women of God

-We are powerful because we can draw on the very powers of God

-We can’t use and harness the power we have unless we are aware of that power

-What are resources of power?
-covenants
-prophet
-endowment
-priesthood
-Holy Ghost

-spiritual privileges such as feeling the spirit in testimony meetings or having callings in the church
-atonement
-Why are we the most powerful women on earth?
-we have knowledge of the gospel

-Isaiah 40:31 and Isaiah 40:29
-we are powerful because God gives us power

-The power of God can renew our souls with energy and vigor

-How do we access the power of God?
-ask in faith
-we have to put Christ first in our lives
-personal righteousness
-patience
-trust in the Lord

-Ether 12:27-God shows us our weaknesses to make us humble and through him our weaknesses can become strengths

-Going to the temple can help remind us of the power we can get from God

-D&C 132:19-What kind of power will we have?
-a full force of power
-we can have everything God has
-Moroni 7:33- if you have faith you have power to do whatever is expedient in Christ

-What helps us realize our power?
-our patriarchal blessings
-the prophet-how much time President Hinkley devoted to us
-patience with ourselves
