Amber B. taught Lesson #11 in the Joseph Smith Manual on the Organization of the Church. This was her last lesson- we sure are going to miss Amber and her family!
What took place at the organization of the church?
- People were foreordained.

- Everything that happens today in sacrament meeting. The church has stayed the same.
What are the jobs of the first presidency?
- They receive revelation for the whole church.
- They testify of Christ and the truthfulness of the gospel.
What does the quorum of the 12 do for us?
- They oversee different matters of the church.
- To testify of Christ.
- To preach the gospel.
- They are examples of righteous living.
- They are inspiring to us and can personally touch our lives.
- They hold all the keys of the priesthood.
- They minister the gospel.
What is the job of the seventies?
- They overlook the missionary work in the world.
- They follow and assist the 12 apostles.
How do we sustain, defend, and build the church?
- Live the standards of the church.
- Befriend people.
- Teach our children to live the gospel.
