Service Exchange Ideas for October Quarterly Enrichment

Quarterly Enrichment- October, Tuesday the 7th @ 6:30pm in the Cultural Hall

Service Exchange (White Elephant Style)

We will be having a Service Exchange at our Quarterly Enrichment Activity
after we eat dinner (Chili, Cornbread, and Cinnamon Rolls). Here are some instructions and ideas for the Service Exchange.

1. Provide a service that will be easy and realistic for you to perform

2. Be as specific in your description as you can.
a. Designate date or time frame the service will be provided if possible

3. If your service is already made you can bring it to the activity for the exchange.

4. Please bring something to the activity that represents your service if you can. For example: If you are offering babysitting you can bring a baby doll or a picture of a baby. If you are offering food you can bring the actual food (cookies,etc) or a recipe card with the recipe, or a picture of cookies from a magazine. Use your imagination and it doesn’t have to be an obvious representation.

Examples:
* Babysitting- Be specific about how long and which day works for you
* Free men’s or boy’s hair cut
* Free lessons in knitting or crochet a baby blanket
* Two loaves of honey wheat bread
* Lesson in making jam
* Flower arrangement or lesson in flower arranging
* Free dinner to a family- Specify type (Lasagna and bread sticks) and specify day if possible
* Make two girl baby blankets
* One dozen chocolate chip peanut butter cookies
*Two pairs of homemade earings- you pick colors or
*Give three of my favorite desert recipes and you pick which one you want me to make you.
