We are starting up a new method for spotlighting sisters in our ward. It's not much different than what we were doing before, but some things have changed so read the following information carefully so you'll know what to do once you get spotlighted. Hopefully we can get to as many sisters as possible this next year.
Instructions for Spotlighting
You will get an email from Valorie with a list of 3 sisters who need to be spotlighted. You will choose one sister from that list and will then spotlight her. You will be sent a list of questions to ask the sister you chose. After you find the answers to those questions, you will contact Valorie and will tell her the sister you chose.You will send her an email with the answers to those questions so she may type them up for the handout on Sunday. You will then make something that you enjoy making and will give it to the sister you will spotlight on Sunday. You don't go overboard on what you give to the sister. The idea is to let the sister know you care about her and therefore you are giving her something that you took time to make and that you enjoyed making. Items such as bread, cookies, treats, clothes, blankets, cards, flowers, jewelry, books, art, etc.
Recap
1. Choose a sister from the list of 3.
2. Get her answers to the pre-determined questions.
3. Email Valorie with 1. the sister and 2. the answers.
4. Make something special.
5. Spotlight your sister on Sunday and give her what you made.
